A weekend in the NC mountains with fun & fellowship for everyone with options to ski, snowboard, ice skate, snow tube or just enjoy a good book/game in the ski lodge. We'll also have group devotional, game, program and worship time together that centers on a theme. This is one of the best retreats all year, don't miss it!
Theme for this Year: "For Everything A Season" based on Ecclesiastes 3 which says there is a time for everything, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to cry and a time to laugh, a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones. But how do we know which time it is? How do we discern God's will and plan in the different seasons of our lives? How do we make faithful decisions and trust God in the midst of the planting, uprooting and inbetween times?
Don't want ski or snowboard? Remember you can still attend the retreat and enjoy all of the great group bonding and program time in the evening and find a day-time activity that is right for you! Snowtubing and Ice Skating are fun options that many have enjoyed before. You may also just want to bring a book and some games and enjoy the ski lodge during the day. All are welcome on this trip! Many youth also try out skiing for the first time on this trip so do not worry if you don't have previous experience.
When: January 10-12, 2020
(We will meet for departure around 4-5pm on Friday and return around 4-5pm on Sunday)
Who: All 9th-12th grade youth (Friends are welcome!)
Adult chaperones needed. If you are a parent or youth advisor who would like to come on this retreat with us please let Allysen know ASAP. Typically DPC is able to cover all costs for our adult chaperones!
COST: Total baseline cost for the retreat is $270 per participant. This will cover most retreat expenses including tranportation, meals, and lodging PLUS either your lift ticket OR your costs to snowtube and iceskate if you are choosing not to ski.

Sign ups and Deposit of $100 is due by December 1, 2019.
Final payments of $170 + the cost of your rental add-ons will be due January 1, 2020
In December families will be sent an individualized PayPal invoice that will include the final payment plus the cost of any rental add-ons. You can choose to pay via Paypal or send in a check to the DPC church office for the amount (minus the online PayPal Fee)
