We will be honoring Phi Alpha Honor Society Inductees and MSW students graduating in December.
_________________________________________________
Our ceremony will include the hooding of our MSW graduates and awarding our newest Phi Alpha members
with their certificate, pin and cord. A brief reception with refreshments will follow.
This is a special time and we hope you will attend!
MSW Grads:
Please wear your cap and gown to the ceremony. Your hood should be draped over your left arm and the tassle of your cap to the right.
When you cross the stage, your name and field internship information will be read to the audience, and you will be hooded by the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services.
Hooding is symbolic of passing the guard from one generation to the next and signifies success in completing the graduate program. You don't want to miss this special honor!
Phi Alpha Inductees:
Please dress in business attire. You will stand with your fellow inductees to recite the Phi Alpha Honor Society Oath, then cross the stage to receive your certificate of membership, honor cord and pin.
Being accepted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society is a privilege and one to be recognized. Please make every effort to take part in this ceremony.
