Join RICJ at the Rhode Island State house for a holiday party as we celebrate
Ramona Royal, 2019 Community & Justice Award Honoree. 

For 66 years, our organization has honored business, nonprofit, and community leaders whose dedication helps to build a just and inclusive state.  The Awards Gala is RICJ's annual fundraiser.  All proceeds support our youth empowerment, juvenile justice, diversity education and public dialogue programs.  

We are delighted to celebrate Ramona Royal, PHR, CPCU, the Talent Acquisition and Diversity Officer for Amica Mutual Insurance.  Ramona leads Amica's diversity initiatives, working with 44 offices across the nation.  Celebrated for her out of the box, creative storytelling approach to building diversity, equity and inclusion in the corporate setting, Ramona is a model for DEI professionals and for RICJ teens who learn dialogue and workshop facilitation through our Youth Facilitating for Change program.

The event begins with a networking reception, a world cuisine buffet and the opportunity to experience the work of diversity by joining inclusion activity circles run by RICJ's teen Youth Facilitators. Ramona's award presentation follows.  Afterwards we will continue to party and enjoy the State House beautifully decorated for the holidays! Please join us. Tickets are $75 each (70% is tax deductible). Sponsorships are available.
