Breakfast for Lunch: Let’s wake up the morning with an array of freshly cooked brunch recipes. Egg Fritattas, Waffles with Homemade Ice Cream and local fruit, and fresh squeezed orange juice! Learn to flip an egg, make an over-easy egg and other fun cooking techniques! Come cook with us and prepare a delicious brunch to be eaten at the end of class.

Ever see a chicken up close? Our afternoon program will include a visit from a chicken farmer and her girls! Let’s learn about backyard chickens and the eggs that we just cooked with. We will finish off the day with one more Egg-licious recipe.

Pizza Party: We are inviting young chefs into the Kitchen for a pizza party! Practice knife skills and make your perfect pizza with fresh local toppings. We will learn a bit about the science of making a homemade salad dressing, and then toss up a green salad. To finish off the meal we will dip strawberries in chocolate for a fancy fruity dessert!

Ever wonder how to make chocolate candies with beautiful chocolate designs? Our afternoon program will learn all about chocolate, and will make chocolate salted cookies and handmade bark.

Pasta Party: Have you seen the professionals make handmade pasta and cheese-filled ravioli? Come learn how they get that great filling inside a ravioli. Have you ever heard of lemon pasta, or black pepper noodles? We will knead and roll out our own pasta, and make homemade ravioli and a nut-free sauce.

To finish off our vacation cooking camp, our afternoon activity will be a smoothie making challenge. Kids will be divided into teams, given a blender and an array of colorful fruits, juice, and yogurt and asked to create the best tasting smoothie. Ready, set, BUZZ those blenders!
