National First-Generation Students Day - Lunch Celebration for First-Gen Fac/Staff/Students 

National First-Generation College Day, Friday, November 8, 2019

November 8 is recognized as the date for the annual National First-Generation College Celebration to honor the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965. Additional information about why November 8th was selected is available at this site, “Why Celebrate on November 8.”
