Lean Tools of Artisan Manufacturing: From maker to manufacturer; finding space, organizing your studio and making what sells. This course will discuss topics such as how to decide how much inventory to order, methods for creating an automated production schedule, and simple steps to a clean and shiny production floor.  

Led by: Kate Jakubas

Kate Jakubas is the founder of Meliora Cleaning Products, which operates out of the Make City incubator in Chicago. She holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from ASQ and uses Lean Manufacturing to improve physical products businesses including food, beverage, and personal care brands. She is the author of the book, Maker to Manufacturer, available on Amazon.com.
