Thursday – (8:00 AM- 12:00 PM): Marilyn Dempsey 

  • Hazard Communication - Train the Trainer
    This training will equip you with the tools to comply with the requirements of the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) and be prepared to train your employees on the HCS.
  • OSHA Recordkeeping
    During this session you'll learn what forms are required and when; regulatory recording / reporting obligations, and the benefits of tracking injuries.
  • Homeland Security 
    This training will explain the Top Screen report, where to find it, and what it means when you have a DHS reportable quantity of a chemical.

Thursday – (1:00 PM- 5:00 PM): Chart Industries 

Chart Inc. will be presenting a four-hour class on the operation and maintenance of your standard liquid cylinder. During the class you will receive a refresher on design and safe handling of liquid cylinders, proper filling techniques, and the internal workings of a liquid cylinder. Each participant will also participate in the final piping and construction of a tank from the point of being a complete shell to the plumbing and labeling of the tank. A plant tour will follow to allow the class participants to see the variations in tank size and design, as well as miscellaneous equipment also produced at this manufacturing plant.
