Music On & Up Grand Finale Showcase Qualifier-February 9, 2020

The Young Performers Club has been producing talent showcase events for 11 years and have had over 1000 performers participate in their shows. We have the longest running and top talent event in the North East. The organization wants performers to become more experienced with live performing, enhance their resumes, and collaborate with each other on future music endeavors. Many of our finalists have experienced success on national talent shows like The Voice, Americal Idol and X Factor, and Megan Trainor, a former Grand Finale Finalist, won a Grammy and has had many top Billboard songs. 2017 was our debut year in partnering with Next Generation Concerts on our first New England tour, the All You Got Tour, for young musicians. For the 2020 season we are adding many new top venues. So, our ongoing commitment is to continue to present quality performance opportunities to young musicians in our region and beyond.

This is our Showcase Qualifier Event for performers 22 and under. This is our biggest showcase event, and this qualifier is our 1st of two qualifiers for the Grand Finale.  Eligible performers will include solos, duos, groups and bands from all music genres. All performers are required to submit an application to participate. This is a competitive process as we typically receive a high volume of applicants from up to 8 states. Our review team will evaluate your submission and will select 15 performers for the showcase event. We will have numerous awards and many special award categories. Additionally, there will be some elements of surprise with new competition categories added the day of the showcase.The top 7 finalists will advance to the Grand Finale.

The Grand Finale winner will receive a cash prize along with other performance opportunities. One performer in this showcase will move forward to the Grand Finale.

Our judging panel consists of top industry professionals, including producers, performers and writers. Our organization does not participate in the review process.

Each performer will perform two songs of their choice, both of which may be originals.One band member may be over 22-years-old. THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE is January 20, 2020.

During the judging panel's review, we will have a special performances by guest performers.  We will also have a judge open and kick off the show.

We will begin notifying showcase finalists on on April 20th. If you do not hear from us by by this date, you were not selected for this event. We have many events throughout the year so there will be more opportunities available in the future.

We are excited to be having the showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe. The sound system is outstanding so it will be a super recording and videotaping opportunity.

All performers are required to remain for the duration of the showcase or they will be disqualified from the awards and finalist selection  process. Additionally, performers who are not present when called for sound checks will not be allowed to participate. We are proud that our shows are packed from beginning to end and we want this showcase to be the biggest one yet!
