Oak wilt is a disease caused by the fungus Bretziella fagacearum. Oak wilt is currently a threat to the oaks of Ontario and Quebec, being found less than 500m from Canadian borders!
This workshop has been developed for foresters, arborists, municipal workers, and other professionals who are looking to learn more about the identification and management of this incoming forest threat!
ISA Certified arborists and foresters can obtain CEUs for attendance at this event.
Join the Invasive Species Centre in discussing the potential threat of oak wilt entering Canada. Expert speakers will be in attendance to discuss their expertise with this invasive pathogen.
Registration is $25 per person, lunch will be provided.
