Holiday Party & Round Up (roundtables)

It's time for our annual holiday party!

Join us for 50/50 (proceeds donated to Habitat for Humanity), raffle prizes and rountables with a few of our favorite local experts.

Round Table 1: Custom Art from Copper Corners

 Mary-Catheryn Baker

My art is greatly inspired by my upbringing in South America, where I was raised with a deep connection to nature, especially the animals. I paint the cows that roamed our sidewalks, blocking our car in the garage and making me late to school. I paint the moody pigs that napped under our neighbor’s mango trees. I paint the chickens that slept at night, snuggled in the trees. Each painting that I create is vibrant, colorful, textured, and intricately layered. Countless hours are dedicated to crafting each piece of art. I strive to portray a balance of realism combined with loose abstraction, causing one to compliment the other. My goal is for people to feel a connection with my paintings in a meaningful and unique way.

Round Table 2: Graphic Design

Naomi Silas

Naomi is a creative designer and educator. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at Kendall College of Art & Design where she was an adjunct professor. She has been an in-house designer for GE Healthcare and Steelcase among others. She also started the graphic design after-school teen program at WMCAT in 2018. She currently owns and operates an independent design studio, Seventh Creative. Naomi serves as a full-time advocate for Equity and Inclusion as the AIGA West Michigan Diversity and Inclusion Director.

 John Mueller

John has spent nearly 20 years in the marketing and advertising industry, with the better part of his career exclusively focused on working in the kitchen and bath and housing industries.

John is an entrepreneurial spirit, but not only that, he’s an implementer.  He knows what it takes to grow a business the right way, with effective tactics.  He’s passionate about the kitchen and bath industry and it shows.  Proven success and growth for his clients is how he sets the bar for marketers in the K&B industry, so he’s confidant he’s doing right by his team and his clients.

His hard work and expertise are recognized as he sits on the board of advisers for Kitchen and Bath Global Partners, a national kitchen and bath industry buying group.  The kitchen and bath community are tight knit, and John is proud to be a part of it!
