Town Hall Meeting Training Topic: Active Shooter Participants will learn strategies that can be used to prepare & respond to an Active Attack or other life-threatening incident.

Participants will learn strategies that can be used to prepare and respond to an Active Attack or other life-threatening incidents. This presentation would be empowering to adults, college students and high school students.

• Learning from past Active Attacks
• The phases of disaster response psychology and how to limit the impact on potential victims
• How to effectively Avoid, Deny, and Defend/ Run, Hide, Fight
• OCPD’s response to the Active Incident

After the presentation, there will be a time for open questions and answers with Major Ron Bacy, Commander of the SW Division, and Chief Wade Gourley.
