Photography Workshop
with Steve Gettle:

Nature as you Muse - Photography in Epic Locations

Photograph by Doug Locke

This workshop includes a special Zoom Webinar by Steve on Thursday October 15 at 7PM

Light on the Land - Landscape Photography by Steve Gettle

The world is filled with scenic splendor. Learn how to create stunning images of the land. We will not only cover techniques to photograph the grand sweeping vista, but also move in close and look at creating portraits of the details in our natural world: from intimate forest scenes, to flowers and the beautiful patterns present in the natural world. Learn how to “see the picture” and how to find order and create beauty in the chaos.

Photography Session

Participants will photograph some of Howell Nature Center’s birds of prey in this 2-hour outdoor session. Steve and his team will be available to provide tips and pointers to help participants increase their photography skills and capture the best shots possible of these incredible birds. All participants will be required to wear face masks (please bring your own), and participants will be able to spread out and maintain social distancing between several stations
