Acupressure Yoga for Self Care
The Seva Stress Release

Just in time for the Holidays, this class introduces SOUL LIGHTENING ACUYOGAİ  through an easy to learn self-care acupressure protocol called the SEVA Stress Release.  

SOUL LIGHTENING ACUYOGAİ , based on traditional Ayurveda and Chinese wellness teachings thoughtfully combines Yin yoga postures (held floor poses targeting connective tissues that run through meridian lines of energy in the body) with15 key acu-points, thought of as access points to the entire meridian pathway. 

Practicing a set sequence of POSES, POINTS & PAUSES, connect with the meridian subtle energy pathways with awareness, breath work, gentle pressure and reflections. Meridian lines of energy flow up and down the body, through tissues, bones and organs and help keep our joints moist, our organs healthy and our emotions balanced. Meridians connect the interior body with the exterior body. A traditional Yin yoga practice is sometimes referred to as Meridian Yoga so it’s a natural fit and a perfect complement to acupressure which targets specific points along these same lines of energy.   

SEVA ACUYOGA can be used as a 60 minute standalone, complete balancing self care protocol, or pick one or two points to enhance any gentle yoga practice.   

The SEVA ACUYOGA practice takes place on the floor or a carpet. Prepare for our webinar class by creating a comfortable, quiet space with room to stretch.  Wear relaxed clothing and bring water. Props to gather: a yoga mat or blanket, pillow, bolster blanket and anything else that might help you feel more supported. This will be a very relaxing, peaceful, stress relief practice. 

There will be a handout provided to encourage a home practice.  
Everyone welcome, not just for yogis.

The Seva Stress release protocol was developed by Soul Lightening Acupressure International and first introduced in September, 2001 to rescue workers at ground zero.  SEVA ACUYOGA is the first SOUL LIGHTENING ACU YOGAİ class being introduced.
