Annual NABA GHC Golf Classic

Join us for the popular, the biggest and best golf scramble tournament of the year! 

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned golfer you will enjoy a fun filled day of 18 holes of golf at Topstone Golf Course in South Windsor, CT. 

NABA’s GHC 14th Annual Golf Classic serves as our primary fundraising vehicle to provide scholarship assistance to minority students and encourage them to major in accounting, finance or general business. 

The success of our annual golf tournament has allowed the Greater Hartford Chapter to distribute almost $90,000 in scholarships to students throughout colleges and universities in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

The Greater Hartford Chapter of NABA was established in the summer of 2005 in order to build on to the Association's motto of “Lifting As We Climb” by taking the fundamental objectives and philosophies of the National Association.  

This year's event will include:

  • 18-hole scramble & cart
  • Boxed Lunch
  • Open bar & appetisers 
  • Beverage cart service
  • Gift bag 

Prizes will be awarded for: 1st & 2nd Winning Groups, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic in our state.  Your health and safety is our top priority and we will follow all state safety guidelines during the pandemic. We will communicate any changes to our tournament schedule to ensure the environment is safe for everyone.

 

Golf Program and Safety Measures:
  • Contactless registration -  all players must pre-register 
  • Mulligan purchases can be made during registration
  • Masks are required when not able to social distance
  • Hand sanitizer, masks and sanitizing stations will be available
  • Hole assignments and gift bags will be placed on each cart
  • Two players to each cart. We recommend one designated driver and one walker. 
  • Boxed lunches will be available and must be selected during the registration process
  • Appetizers and an open-bar will be set up outside at 4:00 pm
  • Golf prizes will be awarded after the last group checks in.  Prizes will be mailed to players that are not present.
  • We will not offer any raffle prizes this year
