• Concealed carry ammunition
• Firearms transport
• Utah reciprocity

 

 

UTAH PERMIT INFORMATION:

As of December 2019, the cost to submit a nonresident handgun application to Utah State is $63.25, and the nonresident online renewal is $25.75.  The Utah Permit is valid for five years.

Applications must be submitted to UTAH within one year of completing this course.

A New York handgun permit is NOT required to get a Utah handgun permit.

However, the Utah handgun permit is NOT valid in New York.

 

RECIPROCITY WITH OTHER STATES:

The Utah concealed carry handgun permit is recognized by 30+ states. There are some states that will only accept the Utah concealed firearm permit so long as the permit holder is a resident of Utah.  It is the responsibility of all Utah concealed handgun permit holders to know and understand the applicable firearm laws of the states within which they plan to visit or venture.  This topic is part of the course curriculum.
