Why We Bully: Understanding HIB Characteristics - March 5, 2020

Please join us for our FREE interactive workshop that will closely examine the characteristics the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights uses to determine whether or not a bullying incident is considered HIB. Some of the characteristics we will delve into in a cultural context are race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation and gender identity among others.

Educators will receive materials to use in their classrooms.

The workshop will run from 9am-3pm, with breakfast and registration beginning at 8:30am. Participants who attend the entire workshop will receive 5.5 professional development credits.  Breakfast and lunch is included.

We are the first exit after Sears on Route 1 South. For optimal navigation, enter “The New Jersey Law Center” into your GPS. Alternatively, input 150 Ryders Lane into your GPS.

In the event of registration being closed, email Elissa Zylbershlag at ezylbershlag@njsbf.org to be added to the wait list.  Please include your name, the date of the training you would like to attend, your email and your daytime phone number.
