Communicating From the Top Down: How to Engage Board, Staff, and Everyone Else in Marketing Your Org

About the Workshop:

Workshop to be held virtually via Zoom.

In this crisis, how you communicate to your stakeholders is more critical than ever. This is your opportunity to create better outcomes in your communications. This starts with engaging all members of your organization, because if you want to communicate effectively externally, it starts with communicating effectively internally.

This workshop will ask: who do you want to be on the other side of this? What do you want your organization to be and how can you create an environment that has the strong communication. skills it needs to meet any challenge.
Participants will learn:
  • The problem, cost and cause of ineffective internal communications to your organization
  • How to stop side conversations and create an organization that can support the free flow of communication up and down the management ladder so all efforts are moving in the same direction
  • Specific tools and strategies to implement to allow for supportive and productive feedback
  • How the board structure can thwart communication among members and between board and staff, and how to create better communication flow
  • How to best support your staff to create healthy, happy nonprofits that easily attract interest, excitement and attention
  • How to create alignment in your brand so the image you portray and who you really are as close as possible, and you can build trusting relationships with supporters
