~  Food as Medicine ~

      

Learn-Connect-Explore-Taste- in this creative “Food as Medicine” cooking class with Registered Dietitians and Licensed Nutritionists Carol Shimberg, MS, RDN, and Tatiana Artruro, RDN.   This cooking class series will have a special focus on digestive health and gut health along with discussions about nutrition tips for healthy skin during the winter months!

                                                          Learn how to create simple, seasonal, delicious, nutritious and affordable recipes. Join Tatiana and Carol as they share their passion and knowledge in this cooking class with nourishing foods of the season.

Tatiana and Carol will discuss the "food as medicine" approach to optimal health and well-being. We will explore the medicinal benefits of whole food recipes to support healthy skin and gut health. Learn about the role of a plant-based diet in the prevention and management of chronic diseases and the healing properties of anti-inflammatory herbs, spices and essential oils.

This class is designed to help participants adopt a more whole food plant-based diet by providing support, education and simple recipes for success. Come join our live cooking demonstration and sample our nourishing wintertime recipes!
