This training will provide an overview of local and national statistics related to suicide and additional resources. Participants will also receive the "Question, Persuade, Refer" certification. This portion of the training discusses effective strategies to respond to a person expressing suicidal thoughts or intentions.

Learning Objectives:
  • Participants will explore local and national resources for suicide prevention
  • Participants will analyze local and national statistics of suicide
  • Participants will become certified in Question, Persuade, Refer
  • Participants will discuss and role-play techniques for suicide prevention
