This training will prepare clinicians to use the evidence-based model of motivational interviewing.


Learning Objectives:
  • Participants will learn the core elements and techniques of MI
  • Participants will learn skills to recognize, respond to and elicit change talk
  • Participants will learn helpful adaptations of MI strategies when working with clients with cognitive impairments
