Blogging for Profit & Exposure

Learn why businesses should be blogging and all  of the benefits that blogging can  help a business with, Search Engine Optimization, Customer Acquisition and more.

You will Learn:

  • How to Utilize your blog content on your other social media platforms

  • The different blogging platforms and the pros and cons of each

Meet Our Presenter:

 

Heather Turner's background is primarily with the hospitality industry. She has worked with a variety of other businesses in the last 15+ years including sailing charters, artists, photographers, non-profits and many more. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. She spent 20 years as a professional chef, the last 8 as an Executive Chef at fine dining restaurants also running the front of the house for many of them.

 In 2003 She started her own business working with bed & breakfasts, restaurants and other small businesses doing website design, graphic design, social media, computer and social media instruction, and hospitality consulting. Currently She focuses on teaching digital marketing and social media and is a keynote and educational speaker at conferences and association events around the country. She also works part-time as the Marketing Director for PAII, the largest non-profit national bed and breakfast association in the US. She is very involved with Toastmasters International and is a double DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster).

2. Our workshops are PAPERLESS, so you will receive an email the day before the workshop linking you to any handouts. You should print it out or load it onto a laptop, tablet, or phone for viewing.

Please Note:

1. You must register online for all workshops. No walk-ins will be allowed for any paid workshops because we cannot take payments on the spot.

2. There will be no refunds for workshops.  You may take another workshop of comparable cost at a later date by sending an email to tracy.allen@scorevolunteer.org.

3. Please download the Zoom app in advance and join the class with enough time to get settled as every workshop will start promptly.

4. Please note that no replays (recording) of virtual classes will be made available to registrants. You must attend classes at their designated time.
