About The Speaker:

Hulya Koc

After working for 6 years in international banking, Hulya left  to start her first company - importing textiles and gift items into the United States. She went on to start a multi-site child care center, and a nationwide employment agency focused on the education field - - the first of its kind. She directed and trained teams in recruitment, marketing, sales, operations and customer service. She later successfully sold each of these businesses.
Besides three for profit companies, she also co-founded two non-profit organizations in the Bay Area which are successfully continuing their operations for the last 25 years. Since 2005 Hulya has been an active accredited angel investor as a member of Keiretsu Forum -- the world's biggest angel investor platform. In September 2012, she co-founded the Istanbul Chapter of Keiretsu Forum whose members invested over $6.5 million in global start ups.
At SCORE, she counsels a wide range of clients, from solo service providers to start up technology companies. She enjoys guiding people and suggesting resources they can leverage.
