WMRO - Trauma Informed Care Training in Hagerstown on January 16 

This workshop, led by Dr. Karyn Harvey, is ideal for direct support staff, provider agency nurses, managers, executives, regional office staff, resource coordinators, support brokers, advocates and family members.

This presentation will review the sources of trauma for people with intellectual disabilities, the effects of that trauma, and the ways in which staff and programs can assist individuals in trauma recovery. Participants will learn how and when to use trauma informed behavioral interventions.
