ACEC/MO 2020 Winter Meeting & Awards Banquet 

You are invited to attend ACEC/MO’s 2020 Winter Meeting & Awards Banquet. If your firm was an EEA competition participant, we also want to invite your key staff & clients to be a part of the Awards Reception & Banquet. We expect another great turnout for one of ACEC/MO’s biggest events of the year. Help us celebrate excellence in engineering design.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28
9:15 a.m. - Registration
9:45 a.m. - Winter Board of Directors / Membership Meeting
12:00 p.m. - Lunch / QBS Awards / Speaker: Senator Bill Eigel, Missouri Senate - He will provide a review of transportation funding needs in Missouri.
2:00 p.m. - The Leadership Tax Seminar (3.0 PDH's) - Speaker: Stephen Long, Motere Consulting - This program has 3 sessions with each one lasting about an hour and a scheduled 10-minute break between each session. The sessions included in this program are: 1) Developing Followership; 2) Leading Better People; and 3) Industry Leadership.
6:30 p.m. - Local Color Night at Topgolf in Chesterfield
Players hit micro-chipped golf balls that track each shot’s accuracy and distance while awarding points for hitting targets on the outfield. Whether you’re an aspiring golf pro or picking up a club for the first time, Topgolf is everyone’s game. It’s fun and it’s competitive. This night of excitement includes Topgolf, dinner, drinks, and a night of fun with fellow members.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 29
7:30 a.m. - Breakfast / Speaker: Don Booth, Senior Archaeologist, SCI Engineering, Inc. - He will discuss the investigations and discoveries at the newly renovated Arch Grounds in St. Louis. SCI served as the archaeologists on call and recovered thousands of artifacts. The artifacts helped paint a picture of what downtown St. Louis was like during the mid-1800's.
9:00 a.m. - Critical Business Issues Roundtables - Small & Large Firm (3.0 PDH's) - The purpose of this program is to discuss issues of interest with your peers in a roundtable format. Discussion will include areas such as business practices, liability, profitability, ownership, human resources, business development, information technology, etc. Results of on-line membership surveys will also be discussed.
