National Week of Prayer for the Healing of HIV/AIDS

The Urgency of Now:
Ending the Epidemic in 2020

The National Week of Prayer for the Healing of HIV/AIDS (NWOP) will take place March 1 through March 8, 2020 to bring national attention to the AIDS epidemic in the U.S. and the extraordinary role faith communities can play in addressing the HIV and AIDS pandemic. Every church, mosque, synagogue, temple, and home is invited to join in prayer, education, advocacy, and service for the healing of AIDS in the U.S. and around the world.

In recognition of the NWOP, EOC of Suffolk, Inc. will host its annual Unity Fellowship Dinner on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Dominican Village located at 565 Albany Avenue, Amityville, NY from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.  The theme of this year’s event is “The Urgency of Now: Ending the Epidemic in 2020.”

This event is free and open to the community.  We invite you to join us for a night of community engagement, food, and performances.  Space is limited, so please register by February 22, 2020.  Those who register before February 10 will be entered into a special raffle with the winner announced at the event.

For technical assistance or for information about the Unity Fellowship Dinner, please contact Kristina Cross, Targeted Prevention Coordinator at 631-968-8000 x648 or via e-mail at kcross@eoc-suffolk.com
