DDA Nurse Quarterly Meeting & HRST review

The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) invites DDA agency nurses (RN CM DNs), Coordinators of Community Service (CCS), Provider Agency Administrators,  and any other interested parties to attend the this meeting.

David Toback, HRST,  will be presenting on the Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST), "Going from review through reports".  In this training the RNs will be shown how to use HRST from start to finish.  The HRST work flow process follows these steps:

  •  Input of meds and diagnosis, which is the foundation of any screening
  • The Rating Items
  • Use of the product of screening, the Considerations Statements
  • Management of HRST alert notifications
  • Leveraging the HRST Report Suite

The two case studies will show how to use the steps above.  In addition health risk data produced by HRST will be utilized to mitigate risk.

For DDA RN CM DNs: This training  counts for attendance at one of the two trainings required each fiscal year.   If you plan to attend by webinar, you must be online during the training for at least 1 hour, in order to qualify for attendance purposes.  In-person attendance is optional and will be held at the Central Maryland Regional Office (CMRO).

Registration links are below for in-person or webinar attendance.
