Fri, May 8th - 3:00 to 6:00pm  -  Challenging your Tower Class  This 3 hour workshop will show you new ways to challenge your students in a Tower Class. With so many options to choose from, it is MeJo’s favorite class to teach!!  We will go through a Beginner/Intermediate Tower class, an Intermediate Tower class, and an Advanced Tower class  in real time, focusing on the flow and rhythm in Classical Pilates. Get ready to workout, and learn some fun variations of the classical Mat exercises which will keep your students coming back for more!

Sat May 9th - 9:00 to 12:00 pm - Getting the Most Out of Your Students on the Reformer Many times teachers find themselves advancing students with a new exercise, as opposed to digging deeper into the ones they already know.  This workshop will review some of the most commonly taught exercises on the Reformer. We will look at different bodies and how they execute specific exercises.  You will develop an eye on how to get students to work deeper, without any unnecessary strain. Sometimes taking things back a step can lead to the greatest improvements, and other times they are ready for a more advanced progression. 

Sat May 9th - 12:30 to 2:30 pm - The Arm Chair After suffering a whiplash in 2000, and showing up for her private lesson with Romana wearing a neck brace, Romana began teaching MeJo more of the Arm Chair.  As part of her rehabilitation, Romana showed MeJo many ways the Arm Chair can be used to help strengthen and stabilize her upper back, neck, and shoulders.  After the injury was healed, Romana continued to teach MeJo exercises on the Arm Chair.  Since then, MeJo has became sought after for her expertise and knowledge on the Arm Chair that she learned directly from Romana.  MeJo hosted and produced the first DVD on the Arm Chair, (The Gratz™ Arm Chair) and has taught hundreds workshops around the globe bringing awareness to this unique piece of equipment and it’s importance in the system.  Get ready to come and try these simple exercises that are much more intense on this not so, “Baby Chair”.
