Two Day Fluvial Geomorphology Training is Full

THIS COURSE IS RE-SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 17, 18, 2020 8am-4pm

This is a design level course.  There will be prerequisite study hydrology hydraulics calcs sent ahead of time.  This is an intermediate/advanced course, beginners may struggle a bit.

This event has 60 spots available to Conservation District employees only through February 17, 2020.  Any left over spots will be open to other agency partners after this date.  Please register early.

  PACD will be hosting a 2-day Fluvial Geomorphology Training short course from 8AM to 4PM at the Clinton County Conservation District on March 24th and 25th. David Williams, from IECA (International Erosion Control Association) will be the instructor.  Day one will cover Fluvial Geomorphology and Natural Channel Design Indices and day two will cover stream restoration/rehabilitation and streambank protection. This course offers 14 Professional Development Hours and a certificate will be distributed at the end of the second day.

  A light breakfast will be served both mornings and a lunch each afternoon.  These are included in your price.

   There are 2 hotels located a short distance from the Clinton County Conservation Distirct.  The Hampton Inn 570-726-3939 and the Quality Inn 570-726-4901.  Please reserve your rooms early as space is limited. 

  In the event the two closest hotels fill, there are 2 hotels in Lock Haven; less than 10 miles away.  Best Western Lock Haven 570-748-3297 and Marriot 570-748-1580.
