Legal issues for family caregivers
2020 Navigating the Journey Family Caregiver Education Series

Attorney-at-law Meredith Williamson has a special interest in helping families navigate the legal and financial matters of aging and care. In the Navigating the Journey’s “Legal Issues” presentation, Meredith will provide you with up-to-date information and discussions on subjects including:

*  Ways to pay for long term care,
*  The difference between a power of attorney and the advance directive
*  The documents everyone should have in place and what happens if they aren’t.
The presentation will include opportunities to answer your questions regarding paying for long-term care and estate planning. 
This presentation is hosted by Providence ElderPlace, Providence Home Services, Multnomah County Family Caregiver Support Program, and Clackamas County Family Caregiver Support Program.
