Racism and its Impact on Child and Adolescent Health: From Awareness to Action 

Join us for this year’s theme at the 7th Annual Arizona Health Equity Conference on Racism and its Impact on Child and Adolescent Health: From Awareness to Action.

We are excited to announce our Keynote Speaker and Address from Dr. Veenod L. Chulani, MD, MSED, FSAHM, CEDS. 

Dr. Chulani serves as Chief of Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Section of Adolescent Medicine and Medical Director of the Gender Support Service. He is also Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Department of Child Health, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.

His primary areas of interest include the care of gay, lesbian, bisexual transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, health equity promotion, and diversity and inclusion.

He has led and participated in numerous local, regional, and national curriculum development, program development, and quality improvement initiatives and is the recipient of numerous awards recognizing his contribution to adolescent health.

A clinician, author, educator and advocate, Dr. Chulani has lectured nationally and internationally on a host of topics related to adolescent health.
