MCBC Mortgage Lending Roundtable - January 21
We'll kick off a four-part series on down payment assistance (DPA) programs. DPA programs are increasingly important to first-time homebuyers. HUD reports ~43% of FHA first-time homebuyers in FY2018 relied on some form of DPA. The roundtable discussion will be informed by a recent review of data available on DPA programs in the Commonwealth. Discussion leads will be Jim Wilde (ED, Merrimack Valley Housing Partnership) and Isabel Cruz (Project Manager, MHP).
