Coming Together to End Youth Homelessness in NH

The DHHS Bureau of Housing Supports is so excited to be working together with each of NH’s Continuums of Care (CoC) to coordinate an event to collectively focus on youth homelessness in NH.  We are gathering youth, non-profit agencies, CoC subrecipients working with youth (including outreach), and many community partners for a program that includes panel presentations from NH youth with lived experiences.  These youth will share their experience of what has worked and what is needed to address the problem, as well as time for local regions to meet together in their “regional round tables.” These community partners will participate in a facilitated discussion using currently available NH data for each region to identify shared interests, start to build relationships and share potential organizational contributions and gaps that need to be addressed in the youth homelessness system in their area.   This is planned as the kickoff event to both local/regional Youth Action Boards as well as the state Youth Subcommittee.
