City of Dublin Leaders:Chris Amorose Groomes, Mayor
Mayor Chris Amorose Groomes is a life-long Dublin resident and owner of Amorose Landscape Service. She was voted mayor Jan. 6, 2020 by her peers on Council after having served a two-year term as vice mayor. Prior to her election to City Council, Amorose Groomes served eight years on the Dublin Planning and Zoning Commission – six of those as chair. She is a graduate of Dublin High School and The Ohio State University, where she studied horticulture and agricultural business.
Dana McDaniel, City Manager
City Manager, Dana McDaniel is the chief administrative and law enforcement officer of the City of Dublin, responsible to City Council for the day-to-day operations for the City. Other responsibilities include advising Council regarding the financial status and future needs of the City, reporting to Council on the general operating of City departments, divisions, offices, boards, commissions, bureaus and agencies, as well as exercising leadership in the development of City projects.
Justin Páez, Police Chief
Chief Justin Páez began his career in law enforcement in 2001 and has been a member of the Dublin Police Department since November 2003. During his career, Chief Páez has served as a patrol officer, patrol corporal, accreditation sergeant, community impact unit sergeant, lieutenant, operations bureau commander, services bureau commander and deputy chief of police. Chief Páez is the seventh Chief of Police for the Dublin Police Department following the retirement of Heinz von Eckartsberg in 2019. Chief Páez, and his wife, Abby, have five children and are proud members of the Dublin community.
