2020 AMM Men's Retreat
Authentic Manhood: Embrace the Purpose and Power of Being a Man
Gene McConnell is the Founder and President of Authentic Relationships International. He addresses public and professional forums, and is widely respected as an expert on the issues of human trafficking, pornography, sexual addiction, sexual abuse, shame, understanding the roots of addiction, and how authentic relationships can bring real change. Gene has participated in interviews with international, national and local media and speaks from personal experience. He is a published author, and his story of recovery has helped countless people deal with the issue of shame, pornography and sex addiction and relational brokenness.
For over 3 decades, Gene has shared his experience, speaking on college campuses, men’s conferences, training therapists, social workers, law enforcement officers, pastors, recovery programs and small group leaders. He has participated in and led men's retreats, victim advocacy conferences, and has been a Keynote Speaker at many national and international conferences.
Event Information
Items to Bring: Snack to share, bible, notebook, pen, sleeping bag, (matress provided) pillow, toiletries, towel, warm clothes, hat and gloves, winter boots, gym clothing, flashlight, any free time stuff you’d like to bring- xc skis, guns, hockey skates, snow machines.
Free Time Activities: Basketball, volleyball, hockey, target shooting, mountain climbing, hiking, xc skiing, shot gun shooting, snow machining.
Registration: If you wish to pay at the retreat, you must make a $20.00 non-refundable deposit ($35.00 after February 9, 2020) or a full payment. We anticipate the retreat filling up quickly this year so don’t delay signing up.
Cost: On or before February 9, cost: $155/ man, after February 9: $175/ man.
