SAFE-CARE Child Abuse and Neglect Training for Medical Providers 

Missouri KidsFirst and the MO Department of Health and Senior Services invite any medical provider interested in improving their ability to care for maltreated children to attend this FREE, 2-day training that will introduce participants to the basics of medical-forensic evaluations for child physical and sexual abuse.

• Developed and delivered by Board Certified child abuse pediatricians
• Approved by the National Children’s Alliance for providers working with a child advocacy center
• AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ and trauma hours
• Qualifies Missouri-licensed advanced practice nurses, physicians, and physician assistants for state reimbursement
