This course will give you tips, tools, and workday exercises to promote better ergonomics in order to help prevent musculoskeletal injuries.

- You will understand the risks associated with a musculoskeletal injury.
- You will be provided with at least three tips to implement in your dental practice for safer ergonomic positioning.
- You will be provided with up-to-date recommendations for tools/equipment used in dentistry to provide a better ergonomic set up.
- You will be provided with stretching exercises that you can perform during your workday that will help promote better postural control and scapulothoracic stability.

Lisa Fitzpatrick, DrOT, CHT, CAE, CEAS has her post professional doctorate degree with a focus on injury prevention and ergonomics. She is also a certified ergonomist and certified hand therapist. She has presented internationally/nationally on ergonomics and injury prevention. She specializes in dental ergonomics and has worked with many dental manufacturers in designing dental equipment.
