              Teaching Economics and Personal Finance Using Children's Literature                    Interactive Lesson Demos -- Free Lesson Plans

This workshop for elementary teachers will utilize popular children's books to teach standards such as trade/barter, opportunity cost, entrepreneurship, saving, segregation, character education, income, goods and services, risk and reward, and human resources.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Substitute teacher pay will be reimbursed upon request after the teacher has attended. Attending teachers will receive a certificate for 7 hours of professional development, a copy of "Teaching Economics Using Children's Literature", access to digital resources, and a surprise gift.
