2020 NC3 Virtual Annual Leadership Summit

Wednesday, July 8 - Thursday, July 9, 2020

Due to restrictions presented by COVID-19, this year’s Leadership Summit will be hosted online as a virtual event. Join us for two exciting days of collaboration during the first-ever VIRTUAL Leadership Summit on Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9, 2020.

This premier event will bring together education leaders and industry experts from across the nation. Now more than ever, educators and industry partners need opportunities to connect, collaborate and share best-practices!

Day One Webinar: Virtual New Member Orientation

Wednesday, July 8

10:00 am - 12:15 pm (CT)

"NC3 Program & Membership Overview"

Ideal for new member schools and/or new faculty of tenured member schools.  Also, a great "refresher" for anyone looking to make the most of their NC3 membership!

This orientation will help you learn how to utilize your NC3 resources, implement NC3 certifications across multiple programs, take full advantage of the NC3 Membership Network and more!

  • Roger Tadajewski, Executive Director, NC3
  • Dan Ramirez, Associate Director, NC3

"Tenured Member & Recent Member Best-Practices"

Learn from a longtime member school located in a major city and a newer member school located in a rural town. You won't want to miss these dual perspectives, which showcase some of the best and most versatile applications of NC3 certifications!

  • Dr. Sheree Utash, President, WSU Tech
  • Ben Schears, President, Northwest Kansas Technical College

Day Two Webinar: Virtual Panel & Presentations

Thursday, July 9

10:00 am - 12:15 pm (CT)

"Welcome Remarks"

  • Chelle Travis, Executive Director, SkillsUSA
  • Ron Painter, President/CEO, National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB)

"Student Successes & Education Transformations"

In our quickly-changing world, educators need to learn how to adapt and change while still meeting education and workforce demands. There isn’t an exact road map, but your colleagues in the NC3 Membership Network can help guide you. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, nor do you have to forge a new path on your own.

This year's Virtual Panel will feature best-practices from NC3 Leadership School members who have not only created educational transformations within their organizations, but have also used industry-recognized certifications and partnerships to support their local economy and their local industries!
  • Dr. Bryan Albrecht, President, Gateway Technical College

  • Dr. Joe Seabrooks, President, Cedar Valley Community College
  • Rhonda Hodges, VP of Workforce, Patrick Henry Community College
  • Greg Wilson, Dean, Pima Community College
  • Dr. Jimmy Hodges, Regional Workforce Director, Alabama Community College System

The Annual Leadership Summit is part of the Leadership School Membership Benefits.

  • The Virtual Leadership Summit will consist of two webinars - Day 1: New Member Orientation and Day 2: Panel & Presentations. If you plan on attending both days, please register separately for each webinar.

  • Registration is required for all attendees. If you do not register, you will not be able to access the webinars on Zoom.

  • Upon registration you will see a pop-up message that your registration is pending. You will receive a registration confirmation email within 48 hours of registering.

  • Each registrant will be able to access the webinars from only one device.

  • If you've already registered for the in-person event, you do not need to take any action to cancel your original registration. That being said, you will need to re-register for the new virtual event, if you plan to attend.
