Brookhaven's March 2020 Seminar 

You're invited to Brookhaven's March Professional Seminar Series (hosted the first Wednesday of every month). The seminar will be Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 and has a cost of a $20 fee covering 1.5 pre-approved CEU’s and a catered lunch. Payments in the form of check (made out to Brookhaven Hospital) or cash are accepted at the door on the day of the seminar.

Lucinda Morte will present "Question, Persuade, Refer."

Often referred to as the mental health version of CPR, QPR teaches 3 simple steps anyone can take to help save a life from suicide. In one hour, participants learn the following:

• The warning signs and risk factors for suicide.
• How to approach someone you're worried about and have a conversation about your concerns.
• Referral resources, including how to connect someone to help.
• Strategies to help keep someone safe by reducing access to lethal means.
