A panel of eminent women activists and scholars will present the history of the suffrage movement, the changing impact of women in policy-making positions, and the celebration of diversity in our ranks. The panel will feature Susan Zimet, hunger policy guru for the State of New York and women's suffrage historian; Dina Refki, Executive Director of Women in Government and Civil Society; Ang Morris, Schenectady Commissioner of Human Rights; and Christina Romeo, Co-Chair of GLSEN of Upstate NY Capital Region and Public Affairs Fellow at Gramercy.
