Organic Certification Intensive 2020 

Want to access new markets and better prices for your products? Certify your farm or ranch Organic! Join us for a 4-part course taught by Organic certification experts and learn what to expect when certifying Organic, how to decide if certified Organic is right for you, how to create an Organic Site Plan (OSP), how to choose a certifying agency, and what Organic certification will cost.  This course is designed to prepare your farm to submit your application for Organic certification!

$85 includes attendance at all 4-parts of this course for up to 2 people per farm/ranch business.

NOTE:  To ensure the safety of our participants and instructors, the 2020 Intensive will be held completely online.

Part 1:  4/13, 9am to noon- Zoom Webinar:  Learn about the certification process and creating an Organic Site Plan (OSP)

Part 2: 4/20, 12:30pm-2:30pm - In lieu of a mock farm inspection, we will be offering a virtual Q & A with course instructors.  If social distancing guidelines change, we will offer a mock-inpsection later in the season.

Part 3:  Multiple appointments available, One-on-one support to work on your OSP with Farm Institute Director Molly Nakahara

Part 4: 4/27, 45 minute appointment to meet with an Organic Inspector to review your application and OSP
