Jessica Barth, actress, survivor, and Me Too Movement activist will discuss her work advocating to change laws regarding the statute of limitations for sexual assault and furthering the conversation about the abuse in power and gender inequality not only in the entertainment industry, but in industries around the globe. Ms. Barth is the Founder and CEO of Voices in Action, which puts survivors first while providing a holistic and innovative approach toward eradicating sexual harrassment, misconduct, and assault, along with providing trauma-informed support.
9:15 am - 10:45 am: Male Violence and Intimate Relationships and the Emerge Program of Massachusetts
David Adams, Ph.D., is co-founder and co-director of Emerge, a non-profit organization dedicated to stopping domestic violence. Dr. Adams has 29 years of experience working with men who batter and is a nationally recognized trainer and researcher. He has published numerous articles about domestic violence and is the author of "Why Do They Kill: Men Who Murder Their Intimate Partners." Dr. Adams is co-chair of the Batterer Intervention Working Group of the Massachusetts Commission on Domestic Violence and has done trainings in over 30 states and 5 nations.

Sergeant Joanne Archambault, (Retired, San Diego Police Department), is the Founder and CEO of End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving criminal justice responses to sexual assault.

2:15 pm - 3:30 pm: Women Who Molest Children: Understanding the Psychology Behind Female Pedophiles
William Carson, Chief of Police, Maryland Heights Missouri Police Department. Chief Carson will share his research findings from in-depth interviews with women convicted of molesting children, including a discussion on offender typologies for female child molesters.

The National Association of Social Workers, PA Chapter (NASW-PA) has approved 7.5 CEUs to be awarded for completion of this course. NASW has been designated as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers (Section 47.36), Marriage and Family Therapists (Section 48.36) and Professional Counselors (Section 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
This activity has been submitted to the PA State Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours.
