HGRF Volunteering at Food Bank of the Hudson Valley 

Please considering helping to sort food donations at the Food Pantry of the Hudson Valley, which supplies groceries to local food pantries through the region.

We will be sorting usable donated items from damaged products and repacking them into categories like soup, juice and cereal.   Please note the warehouse can be dusty and chilly(in the winter) or hot (in the summer) so dress accordingly. Additionally, volunteers are asked to adhere to the following:

- bring a pair of warm cloth gloves for their own personal use

- wear sneakers or boots (shoes must cover your feet)

- not use head phones, earbuds and cell phone as this is prohibited

- No eating or drinking in the warehouse, including chewing gum, cough drops or mints (water bottles are provided in a designated area)
