The All Church Retreat is about rest, fun, worship, and growing and connecting with your church family. We stay in Assembly Inn and have all our meals together in the Inn, in the Galax Dining Hall. All your meals are paid for as part of your registration fees, except for Sunday lunch and dinner. For those meals, you are welcome to eat in the dining hall (at your expense) or dine out. Black Mountain and Asheville are filled with great restaurants.

During the weekend we have planned group and break-out sessions as well as worship on Sunday morning. In your down time, we hope you’ll explore Montreat! It’s a beautiful place filled with great spots. 

Due to the current pandemic, several changes have been implemented by Montreat and FPC to prioritize the health and safety of all.

Meals in the Dining Hall:

• Tables have been spaced 6 feet apart, and we're encouraged to only dine with your household.
• Rather than a buffet, food will be served by a PPE-wearing Montreat staff. 
• A plexiglass barrier has been installed to seperate the food line and food servers.

Programming:

• We're reserving the largest gathering spaces to ensure appropriate distancing while indoors. 
• We'll utilize outdoor space for gatherings as much as possible. 
• Childcare will not be provided as socially distancing young children is very difficult and requires constant help from parents.

 

While this year's retreat will look quite different and we'll likely not be able to connect as a church family as much as we have in the past, we still intend to make this a great retreat for all who attend!

 

Some notes about how to register on this form: 

Determine how many nights you plan to attend. Some folks come up Friday evening (dinner is not included if you arrive on Friday evening, but Saturday breakfast is included), and some arrive Saturday morning. Programming officially begins on Saturday at noon with lunch.

If you are bringing multiple people, determine the best pricing option for you and your guests. You will need to select "Add" under Family Member Information to add additional people. If you are bringing children or youth, please choose the family option--you will not need to add individuals with this option.

The rooms available to us either have 2 twin beds or 1 queen/king. There are a limited number of rooms with connecting doors between these two types of rooms, which are a must for families with young children. Those rooms are first-come-first-served.
