Things we'll go over in this workshop:

  • How to work with other people (what documents should cofounders have)
  • How to lose control of your company
  • How to raise money (fundraising basics)

Workshop Fee $25

Presented by Jessica Vittorio

Jessica Vittorio is the Managing Attorney of The Law Office of Jessica Vittorio, a law office focused on providing startups and small business owners with the insight and experience they need to properly grow their business. As the daughter of two business owners, Jessica grew up with a unique understanding of the challenges and issues that entrepreneurs face every day. Prior to opening the firm, Jessica served as primary Legislative Counsel to a member of the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. This experience gave her many opportunities to connect with startup and small business owners throughout the country, and develop a well-rounded understanding of the specific obstacles they face. Unlike many business oriented law firms, Jessica focuses on developing client relationships and appreciating each client as an individual company. By understanding a company’s philosophy, values, and goals she can empower her clients to establish their business in ways that will enable future success. She is a strong believer in the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship, and is continuously finding new ways to help her clients overcome obstacles so they can focus on making their dreams a reality.
