The countdown to the largest networking event in the Cleveland area has begun!!  On Thursday, May 7th, the NCFA will host its 12th Annual Distributor Social!  We are so thankful for the support the industry has given this event and realize this couldn't be possible without the support from our SUPPLIER SPONSORS.  THANK YOU! This sponorship from the supplier companies allow DISTRIBUTOR COMPANIES TO ATTEND FOR FREE (up to 5 attendees).   The NCFA Distributor Social brings together top distributors and suppliers in the fastener industry for three hours of networking. There are no booths to drag in and set-up.  You are not working behind a table all evening hoping a prospective customer or a currrent customer heads your way.  You get to decide how little or how much you want to get out of the evening. There will be a selection of delicious hot & cold hors d'oeuvres and free drink tickets.  This event attracts attendees from all over, not just the Cleveland area.  Last year we had over 200 people in attendance! This is an event you don't want to miss!

This year, our friends at Solution Industires are opening the doors of their new 50,000 square foot facility in Strongsville, OH to our Distributor Social Attendees.  They will be hosting a day of presentations, tours and lunch prior to the Distributor Social:  

9am AIM Presentation - Rob LaPointe, President/CEO and Co-Founder of Aim Testing Laboratory will get the day started with a presentation on Metallurgy.  Rob is a noted authority in materials and fastener technology and has extensive experience in management and science of material testing laboratories.  With a background of 20 years in physics education, Rob is effective at communicating complex ideas in a simple and understandable manner.  AIM offers a wide range of fastener, specification, materials, compliance and quality system consultation and Rob brings a unique perspective having dealt with “real world” situations from the fastener industry.

10:30am Flexport Presentation - A representatives from Flexport, a freight forwarder, will give a presentation on their technology driven approach to importing.    Flexport serves more than 10,000 clients and suppliers across more than 200 countries, offering a full range of services including ocean, air, truck and rail freight drayage and cartage, warehousing, customs brokerage, financing and insurance - all informed and powered by their software platform.  This presentation will be of interest to any company that does importing but also to anyone who wants to hear more about the effects of tariffs and the Coronavirus on the global supply chain.

12:30pm - ITR Presentation - The North Coast Fastener Association is happy to welcome Taylor St. Germain from ITR Economics.  Taylor will touch on many topics relevant to the fastener industry including short-term and long-term economic forecasts (both U.S. & Global), leading economic indicators, time-sensitive current events as well as topics specifically requested by the NCFA.  ITR Economics is the oldest privately held, continuously operating economic research and consulting firm in the US with a knowledge base that spans six decades.  ITR has an uncommon understanding of long-term economic trends as well as best practices ahead of changing market conditions. Their reputation is built on accurate, independent, and objective analysis and the NCFA is very happy to be able to offer this program.

Because of the uniqueness of the Distributor Social and the multiple registration options for suppliers and distributors, please pay close attention to the Registration Page Options and read the descriptions.

Suppliers - Your sponsorship amount includes 5 attendees.  Your registration is per sponsorship NOT per attendee. If you wish to send more than 5 attendees, there is an option for that on the registration page. Please also email your company logo to Lgraham@ncfaonline.com by May 1st, so it can be included in the show materials. 

Distributors - The first 5 distributors from each company get to attend the DS for FREE.  If you wish to send more than 5 attendees, there is an additional option/cost on the registration page. 

Bar Sponsors - These optional sponsorships are available to suppliers and distributors. There will be a limited number of these available.  There is a designated spot on the registration form for this sponsorship. Sponsors will be included on bar signage and on drink tickets.   Suppliers please note, this sponsorship would be in addition to your supplier sponsorship, which is necessary to attend the DS.
