Human Fatigue in 24/7 Operations

This comprehensive course explores the relationship between human fatigue and important biological functions, that impact not only personal well-being and officer safety, but organizational liability and overall risk management. Participants will be exposed to the following areas:

Human Fatigue Considerations:
- The circadian clock
- Important biological functions
- Officer safety
- Human error and risk management

Shift Work and Scheduling Considerations
- Rotation frequency and direction
- Shift duration and times

Health Concerns

Employee and Organizational Recommendations for Improvement

4-hours Total: CEH: 4-hours Interpersonal Perspectives.

This course also includes: 2-hours training on officer well-being, including mental health awareness.

Understanding the Generational Divide

Today's U.S. workforce is comprised of a more diverse and complex group of individuals than ever before. This course explores unique differences, specific to each of the generations represented in the workplace. In addition to cross-generational comparisons, the course explores other factors that contribute to employee differences such as human stages of development, values, personality, and human communication. Finally, the course provides recommendations for both improved organizational culture, and leadership. This training is beneficial for all employees and supervisors in today's workforce.
