National Science Foundation (NSF) SBIR/STTR Funding Workshop

Each year the National Science Foundation (NSF) offers $200 million equity-free funding to a diverse portfolio of early stage R&D companies through their Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. If you are a Maine small business developing an innovative technology, product, or service, we encourage you to attend this free workshop. NSF’s program includes a broad list of topics, and their Project Pitch submission is an excellent, low-effort way to determine NSF’s interest in your innovation.

This workshop will include an overview of the program by one of NSF’s Program Managers, a presentation by Maine Technology Institute’s SBIR/STTR expert, Karen West, information on how MTI and MCE can help you prepare and submit a Project Pitch, and time for Q&A.

For more information on the NSF’s program and to review their current list of topics,
visit www.seedfund.nsf.gov
