Join us as Volunteer Naturalists from Roxborough State Park present a Leave No Trace Awareness course to learn how to recreate responsibly and lessen your impact on the beautiful Natural Resources we all enjoy.  Here in Colorado we have access to truly world-class recreational opportunities.  In order to ensure that future generations get the same chance, it is important to learn how to tread lightly and use some simple techniques to balance our enjoyment with preservation of the wild landscapes.

The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is a local non-profit out of Boulder, CO that has developed the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace that can be applied anywhere to lessen your impact outdoors.  Roxborough State Park staff will present the Leave No Trace Awareness Course curriculum and share some of the unique experience that Roxborough has to offer right here in your backyard.  We hope to see you there!
