Joe Rabil, President of Rabil Stock Research, has 30 years of experience in the area of technical analysis of individual stocks, industry groups and market indices. He has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to some of the best performing money  managers on Wall Street by successfully identifying portfolio holdings that are  technically improving or deteriorating. Joe is a recognized expert on Trend, Trend  Momentum, and Multiple Time Frame Analysis. Joe is an avid student of technical analysis and credits industry legends such as  W.D. Gann, Richard Wyckoff, Marty Zweig, Vic Sperandeo, Scot Lowry and Linda  Raschke with shaping his views on technical analysis. Joe received a business degree in 1987 from Georgetown University, where he  was a pitcher and outfielder during the winningest period in Hoya baseball  history.

The CFA Society Virginia pays for speaker lunches on a per person basis based on the number of RSVPs received. If a member RSVPs that they will be attending and does not attend, CFA Society must still pay for that lunch. In many instances, this adds up to hundreds of dollars per event.
